Thermoplastics has the engineering and manufacturing capability to produce parts for all makes of injection molding machines, new and obsolete models. If we don't have a print for a certain part we can reverse engineer and make the print from worn or damaged samples. Special requirements are made to customers' specifications in our machine shop. Castings are produced for the company by a local foundry.
The Parts Division maintains a large inventory and special machine items are stocked by agreement with customers.
Some of the more common machines we have manufactured parts for or rebuilt clamp ends include: Cincinnati, Demag, Engel, Haitian, Husky, JSW, Impco, Newbury, Niigata, Nissei, NPM, Reed, Sumitomo, Van Dorn. We also have experience in many other makes; the list goes on.
Parts routinely manufactured in-house, repaired or made new, includes: tie bars, tie bar nuts, toggle pins, toggle bushings (steel, bronze, graphite impregnated) piston rods, guide rods, strain rods, screws & tips, poppet body assemblies, screw barrels, plunger barrels, washers, tubes, wear pads (steel & phenolic), caps and couplings, press parts among other machine components. Thermoplastics serves as a distributor for P/H cylinders, and vickers parts.
With our extensive assembly list we also provide our customers with injection molding machine kits such as clamp rebuild kits, toggle pins kits, hydraulic components, seals, cartridge kits, screws, barrels, tie rod, tie rod bushings, valve bodies, ultrasonic testing, strain gauge, chrome plating, nickel plating and much more!
