THE REMANUFACTURING/RETROFIT PROCESS

Parameters for the remanufacturing process are engineered exclusively to each customer's requirements. The work entails a comprehensive machine upgrade starting with the rebuilding repair of machine clamps and injectors. Solid state controls are installed.  New electrics and replacement of hydraulics (sometimes both requiring redesign) may be provided. Components that fail inspection are replaced. Special features are added.

During the multiple stages of remanufacturing, on-line inspections are made which conform to the National Bureau of Standards. Upon work completion, performance tests are held to assure our customer's satisfaction.

Typically, the machine restoration cycle requires 10-15 weeks.

MANUFACTURING

Thermoplastics personnel direct all facets of the remanufacturing process starting with disassembly and continue through the final stages of reassembly. All parts are inspected for dimensional and structural integrity. Worn parts are either rebuilt or replaced with new components manufactured in house in our expansive machine shop.

A typical work day encompasses projects covering hydaulic ejectors, updating relay systems, machine rewiring, corepulls, barrel and link rebuilding - among other speciality work projects.

Every effort is made to prioritize emergency requirements such as "break-down" machine repairs. And all repairs follow OSHA standards.
